Education and Engagement
The education and engagement project is a partnership between Sheffield City Council, the charitable Sheffield Botanical Gardens Trust and the Friends of the Botanical Gardens, Sheffield.
The Education Programming at the Gardens offers an exciting range of courses and workshops for all ages, including garden design, horticulture training and floristry. The programme also provides bookable school trip workshops for all Key Stages and across curricular subjects. These full and half day led activities allow students to discover the delight of learning outdoors, surrounded by nature. They enhance curricular learning across topics including science, horticulture, plant exploration, pollination, habitats, air quality, world geography, history, creative writing, and art. The programme was funded largely by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
For more information on upcoming courses and workshops see the What’s On page of the official website for the Gardens What's on — Sheffield Botanical Gardens Trust.
